Eric's Rendition
It all started at the fine institution of HIGHER learning called the University at Buffalo,in Buffalo, NY. It was the fall of 1994. I was beginning my second Junior year (a state school phenomenon) at UB. That year I was scheduled to take Social Theory, a required course for Sociology majors. While in class, I noticed this young lady sitting to my right, she was as we say in BK.... I-IGHT!!!!
Neway, Michele and I conversed several times but it all came to fruition on the day she took me out for breakfast. Michele knowing that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, purchased a most agreeable meal for me. Myself, knowing I 'd be a fool to pass up my favorite food (free!!) agreed.
We have been together ever since and I must say that these are the best years of her life!!!

Michele's Rendition
I transferred to the University at Buffalo in the Fall of 1994 ready take on life at a much larger school than I was used too and to see what was really up with these infamous "Buffalo Winters."
I was enrolled in a required Social Theory class scheduled at the crack of dawn... (8:00am to be exact). So I'm wondering if I can survive this semester in a morning comatose state, when I notice this guy with dreads sweatin' me. He would come by and talk and was forever showing me his many watches he would get from his home in New York City. (My mother always warned me about those Brooklyn boys...) Anyway, like I mentioned, this class was EARLY and I was forever hearing somebody's stomach growling in the back of the classroom. I felt kinda bad for Eric and asked him he wanted to get something to eat after class. We ate and talked over French Toast sticks and although the food has changed we still do have great conversations.
And don't be confused, these have been the best years of His life!
